Weekend to me means treating myself to some extra delicious breakfast. So today I had some yummie berry crumble which I decided to name „Bounty Berry Crumble“ as it actually tastes like Bounty.. just with berries.
In the past I actually ate non-vegan crumble quite often and I used to make it with a lot of butter – which we all know is bad for your health and the animals, right? I’ve already made vegan crumble as well – with vegan butter – but today I decided to try something new as I didn’t have any butter at home anyway.
So here we go..
For 1 (big) portion you will need:
200-400g Berries
1 tbsp cacao powder
50g flour
2 tbsp shredded coconut
2 tbsp oats
2 tbsp coconut sugar
2 tbsp coconut oil
Put your berries into a small baking pan and spread the cacao on top of them. Mix the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl except for the coconut oil. After everything is mixed together well, add your coconut oil and knead everything until you get crumbles. Add the crumbles on top of your berries and put the baking pan into the oven for 15-20 minutes on 180° – done!
I like to eat my crumble along with something cold and creamy, this time I enjoyed it with coconut yoghurt.
Enjoy! <3
