„Liebster Award“

Yay, I got nominated to take part in a kind of blog game which is about discovering new great blogs. 🙂 Never took part in a thing like this so of course I’m in!

Zoe from the blog lifeofaprettynormalgirl commented on my blog yesterday to nominate me, thanks again. <3 She runs a cute German blog about the small things in life and also loves food and travelling, just like me.

The rules:

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Link this blogger in your post.
  3. Put the award-picture in your post.
  4. Answer the questions you get from the blogger who nominated you.
  5. Come up with 11 new questions.
  6. Nominate 5 blogs with less than 300 followers.
  7. Inform the bloggers that they got nominated.

So here are my answers to Zoe’s questions:

Describe yourself in 5 words.

vegan, foodie, bookworm, runner, dreamy

How did you get into blogging?

I always loved reading and writing. German and English were the subjects in school I liked best. I think I got the idea of staring a blog some time after I went vegan as this was the time when so much changed in my life and mindset. I want to share my thoughts with the world and to show others how easy it is to be vegan and to take care of yourself. It’s also for myself though. I think it’ll be easier for me to create the life I want when writing everything down as I don’t want to disappoint myself. E.g. if  I had the goal to travel to America within the next 2 years and in over 2 years I see that it’s still not and on my blog it reminds me that maybe I lost sight of my goal and need to focus more on the things that really are important to me. It’s nice to have a kind of „diary“ again. 😉

Do you have a passion?

I’m a passionate book reader. 😀 Seriously, I’ve been into reading since I’ve learned it as a child. Nowadays I’m also passionate about veganism and spreading the vegan message though it’s not always easy. I want to contribute to reducing animal suffering, the destruction of our planet and also to help people be healthy. I want to help making this world a better place.

What’s the most embarassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

Difficult.. but most probably happened when I was drunk and I can’t remember. 😉 (side note: I’m not drinking as much and often anymore..)

What has inspired and touched you lately?

I get inspired a lot these days by people living the life they want and sharing this message on social media. Makes me see what’s actually possible if you really want it. What really touched my heart last week was finding a little helpless hedgehog in the garden and to help this poor innocent being.

Do you have favourite travel blogs?

Yes! I love the blogs Planetbackpack by Conni and PinkCompass by Carina. I guess I like them a lot because they’re run by women travelling alone which helps me imagining it’s possible for me as well and not to be so afraid of it.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Not in a specific place or situation but finally being completely happy and at peace with my life.

What makes you happy?

Travelling, good food, good books, running, friends, my boyfriend.. I find happiness also in the small things in life like for example enjoying a relaxing evening with taking a bath and reading a book. It’s sad many people don’t appreciate what they already have and are constantly looking for greater things to make them happy.

What are you doing for a living?

Good questions. 😀 Just finished studying Health Promotion and I guess I’ll start working fulltime again this month already (need to save up for travelling.. 😉 ). I’ll most probably work in my old job branch though which is business. Want to try and establish health consulting as a side job somehow though.

What is your favourite place on earth?

No way I can answer this, there are too many beautiful pleaces in the world and I’m yet to discover more of them. But: There’s no place like home and home is where your heart is. <3

How would you descrive the way you dress?

I don’t have a specific style I think. What i can say is that I’m definitely not the one for sporty clothes except for when I’m doing sports. 😉 I think my style is something between comfy, casual and elegant. My summer style is also quite different from my winter style, I guess.

So, that’s it. Really had fun answering those, thanks again, Zoe!

My questions for the next bloggers are:

  1. How did you decide what your blog should be about?
  2. Do you want to make blogging your job or do you do it just for fun?
  3. Which topics are you most interested in other blogs?
  4. Do you do other things online to share your life and thoughts?
  5. Do you want to have your own family one day/do you already have one?
  6. What is your favourite season and time of day?
  7. Are you a tee or a coffee person?
  8. Do you live in a flat or house and do you life there alone or with other people?
  9. Which country you haven’t been to yet do you absolutely want to visit in your life?
  10. If there was only one song you could listen to for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
  11. What are your plans for today or what did you do today (if this day is already ending)?

Those can also be answered in German of course if your blog is written in German.

Took me a while to decide who to nominate but here are the lucky (or unlucky, haha :D) winners but here they are:

  1. Silke / In100Tagen
  2. Vivi / vanillaholica
  3. Cordula / Wir Essen Pflanzen
  4. Janina / bloomingpride
  5. Matylda / Run and Ommm

Have fun! 😉 And to all of you reading this: Go check out their blogs, it’s totally worth it! 🙂
