Future Travel Plans

Inhalt

I thought I’d make a little bucket list of the places I’d love to visit. To be honest with you, at the moment I don’t have the possibility to go anywhere as I’ve just finished studying and have no money left. So I need to work for quite a while now to afford travelling. But this doesn’t keep me from dreaming and making plans. 😉

I was thinking about maybe doing some work & travel first before I’m 30 (as I’m too old after) to save some additional money to visit other places afterwards. The problem is that it’s not easily possible in every country to do work & travel, that’s why NZ is on my list (ok, that’s not the only reason of course..). But I’m really not sure about how to realize my travel plans yet. I think it’s good though to have at least some vision about where you want to go to actually plan how to make it possible.

So, no matter if in 1 year or in 10, those are the places I’d love to visit while I’m alive:

Cities:

  • Venice ✓
  • London
  • Rome
  • Istanbul

Countries:

  • Morocco ✓
  • Costa Rica
  • Hawaii
  • Thailand
  • Scotland
  • Ireland
  • Iceland
  • Finland
  • Australia
  • New Zealand

Maybe I’ll update this list later.. 😉 If you have any suggestions, please write them down in the comments. 🙂

As you can see there aren’t too many cities on my list. I’m just not the one for big cities, I guess. I like to stay there for some days and enjoy the atmosphere but I’m always happy to get out again. It’s just too busy and crowded for me. Maybe I should add Berlin though, hm.. can you believe this? I’m German but I’ve never been to Berlin. 😀 The thing is: I’d like to visit Berlin but I’m not THAT interested in it to make it a priority. And as it’s so far away from where I live in Germany I rather visit other big cities instead (Paris some weeks ago for example) as it doesn’t really make a difference regarding money & travel time.

I’ll probably make some separate posts about why these destinations are on my list. Actually I don’t have specific reasons for all the places I wrote down, they mostly depend on hearing lots of stories and seeing lots of photos that inspired me. So writing down why I want to go there will also help me to realize if I really want to go there or if it’s just because of some (maybe unreal) imagination I’ve made up in my mind over the years.
